Captain Chuck Koucky has been sailing since he was 10
years old. It is his passion as well as a career. Always choosing to
live near a large body of water, he has a lifetime of experience.
His boating licenses and endorsements include:
- Captain's License, 6 pack
- American Sailing Association: Certified
instructor in:
Basic Keelboat, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat, and Radar
- Sailing and Towing Endorsement
- 50 Ton Master's - Inland Waters License

and has been racing since 1978. participating in:

- Port Huron to Mackinac
- Regional racing in Charlevoix, Michigan and
Naples, Florida
Additionally Chuck has experience on various power
boats from Boston Whalers to Tour boats in Southwest Florida. He has
made boat deliveries from Michigan to St Thomas.
