Basic and Beginning Sailing $395/day (six hours of instruction) for 2 students This class is held on our O'Day 20. It is a small boat, easy to sail, great to learn the basics. This class covers: sailboat terminology, basic boat handling, basic navigation, basic sail handling, man overboard, and beginning knots. To cover all this material we recommend taking the class for at least two days.
Small Boat Handling $ 250.00/ half day (three hours of instruction) or $95.00/hr for 2 students This class is held on our 17 ft Boston Whaler. A comfortable boat to learn handling. We will cover: terminology, basic navigation and boat handling, including docking.
Radar Training $ 250.00/ half day (three hours of instruction) for 2 students The radar class is mostly classroom instruction. It offers instruction in: how radar works, operation, interpretation of radar screen, collision avoidance and radar navigation & piloting
Coastal Cruising $ 425.00/day (six hours of instruction) up to 4 students
We suggest that students have some basic sailing knowledge for this class. This class is held on the Atlantic City Catboat, a wonderfully roomy boat that is perfect for coastal cruising. This class covers: cruising seamanship, anchoring, engine maintenance and checks, safety, weather, sail handling, and navigation. To cover all this material we recommend taking the class for at least two days.
Advanced Sailing Sorry - the Mega 30 is currently dry-docked
Your Own Vessel $65.00/hr - 2 hour minimum This is a great class if you have just purchased a boat that is unfamiliar to you, or if you are new to our area and want some instruction in navigating our waters.
